Shannon Morse, Green Door Life co-founder and master trainer, will lead you through a series of exercises to increase your range of motion and stabilization, which helps develop the smaller muscles that surround your joints.
Regular mobility work (not static stretching) helps prevent injury and allows for greater muscle development for enhanced athletic performance.
You can repeat the mobility routine you learn next week as a safe and effective warm-up prior to workouts.
The same cannot be said about static stretching beforehand which has been shown to increase risk of injury when done before training.
You can expect to finish class less "crunchy" and stiff; instead, you'll walk away feeling more fluid and flexible, yet strong and stable.
