What makes our workouts different?
- If you join our live classes, you'll receive real-time feedback from our expert instructors on your every single exercise for effectiveness and safety. This alone keeps our members coming back regularly, many who have ditched their bootcamp classes and personal trainers entirely because our quality coaching is that good!
- We program progressive 12-week cycles designed to get you RESULTS. These are not one-off, random free workouts on YouTube or
- Every single rep, exercise, hold count, lowering count, warm-up, finishers, etc. is created on purpose and results-driven by master certified personal trainer, Shannon Morse, with over 20 years of experience!
- You'll get sculpted WITHOUT the bulk (especially if you're also following our nutrition protocol). We add volume in the places where people want it most, such as the glutes. We can recommend specific additions to your weekly routine if you're looking for more mass / size in a certain area, such as chest for men.
- You get to feel the power of the most uplifting, encouraging community, even if you're following along the replays on demand! You'll often see our team of over 15 nutrition coaches participating live just as much as our clients for an incredibly motivating experience.
Class Descriptions:
- Progressive Strength Training: 60-minute workouts that are designed in 12-week cycles to help you get strong and lean progressively over time. Our weekly strength training workouts are full body and progressive in nature. This means that each week you will increase weight, reps and/or intensity to continue challenging the muscles and build a lean physique while losing body fat. The minimum equipment required include a set of medium and heavy dumbbells, a glute band, resistance bands, and some sort of bench or chair.
- Metabolic Conditioning: Met Con is short for Metabolic Conditioning, a type of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) that will get your heart rate up for max fat-burning AND build lean muscle mass in just 30 minutes! Met Con incorporates plyometrics, core work, and compound movements (i.e. using multiple large body parts like upper and lower body) with weights. We alternate between giant super sets with minimal rest in between and more Tabata style circuits where we have distinct work/rest periods and then repeat. The goal of Metabolic Conditioning is to burn maximum calories during your workout, which creates an oxygen deficit forcing your body to burn calories at an accelerated rate for hours afterwards. The workouts should feel challenging on both your muscular and cardiovascular systems, so get ready to sweat!
- Stretching and Flexibility: This is not your typical stretching class! Aerialist Phoenix Paz will help you develop strength, flexibility and mobility as you stretch, which will significantly improve your alignment and range of motion when you strength train or participate in any other physical activity. If we do not develop safety in the body with greater ranges of motion, we cannot effectively develop full, balanced, symmetrical muscles when we strength train. We recommend this class once a week for those who are actively strength training.
- Group Coaching Calls: these weekly 1.5 hour calls are hosted by us (co-founders Shannon Morse and Lisa Kirby) and are for members of our current 12-week Awaken Your Nutrition program + returning clients who want to get questions answered about deeper nutrition and training topics. If you haven't done our nutrition program yet, these calls may not make much sense to you : )
