 Shannon Morse

  Co-Founder, Coach and Chief Visionary

Shannon Morse is a trauma-informed integrative coach and Co-Founder of The Green Door Life. With over two decades of experience, she’s helped thousands of people reconnect to their bodies, release emotional blocks, and build strong, sustainable lives—physically, emotionally, and energetically.

Her journey didn’t begin in a lab. It began with pain. From chronic back injuries to miscarriages and concussions, Shannon turned each life challenge into a path of study, healing, and integration. Through every season, she sought the modality that would bring her back to herself. And when she found it, she didn’t stop there. She trained in it, mastered it, and began to teach others. Her life rhythm became her professional ethos: hurdle, learn, integrate, teach. This rhythm lives on in the way she mentors her team, helping other practitioners refine their own wisdom through their personal lived experiences.

Shannon’s strength training expertise began on a foundation of Pilates, where she developed a deep understanding of core movement, strength, and flexibility. She blends nervous system regulation, strength training, trauma release, and spiritual awareness into her transformative coaching style that draws from both evidence-based science and ancient healing technologies. And as a proponent of somatic awareness and plant medicine work, she is able to meet people at the edge of their transformation to help them ground profound experiences into daily life.

Shannon specializes in helping clients:

Through her work, Shannon inspires clients to embrace the three pillars of health (nutrition, movement, and mindset) proving that transformation is possible for everyone, not just elite athletes. She believes that every body has limitless potential when properly fueled, trained effectively, and supported with the right mindset. She loves guiding people toward embodied knowledge that lives in the body, not just in the mind.

Clients often describe Shannon as calm, grounded, and fiercely wise. Clients don’t just come to Shannon for results, they step into a sacred container designed for deep transformation, held with warmth, spaciousness, and maternal steadiness. Her unique gift lies in helping people slow down enough to hear the deeper intelligence that’s flowing through their bodies.

She doesn’t push. She doesn’t prescribe. She listens, reflects, and co-creates systems of support that meet people exactly where they are because no two bodies, or stories, are the same. Shannon co-creates personalized blueprints that evolve with the person they’re designed for.

To Shannon, wellness isn’t about chasing performance. It’s about returning to the body's original intelligence and remembering that every body has the potential to heal.

At The Green Door Life, she leads the design and delivery of program architecture that leaves clients with embodied knowledge and the self-trust to carry it forward. As the visionary force behind GDL’s methodology, she shapes the pathways that coaches and clients walk together. Whether she’s mentoring a team member or guiding a client through their healing arc, Shannon stands for one thing: transformation that’s grounded, expansive, and lasting.

Outside of her role as a practitioner and founder, you’ll find Shannon enjoying time with her fiancé and friends in Tennessee, lifting weights barefoot in the sun, and enjoying deep conversations with her family, students, and community.
